Blacksad

I really love the Blacksad series and wanted to make some fan art of one of my favorite scenes from the books.
At first my plan was to just make a detailed sculpt of him and make a clay render but decided to take it a bit further after realizing he really needs hair and colors.
The main shot is based on a frame where he shoots a frog named Ivo Statoc (one of the city's most powerful businessmen) in the head after a heated debate.

I used Octane to render the shot and Ornatrix to create the hair.
